Walt’s Retro Radio 148 is a profile of WOLF AM 1490 in Syracuse, New York where Dick Clark got his start. Despite having only 250 watts of power, WOLF was a top 40 powerhouse in the ’60’s. This profile includes:
1. A montage of commercials and other production aired on W_O_L_F in 1955,
2. A brief aircheck of Arlene Dee, who in 1965 had to be one of the first women doing top 40 radio,
3. W_O_L_F banner lines on the half-hour and news at 55,
4. And a montage of W_O_L_F production samples.
